Ringtone By Names
The screen offers you the ability to set a specific ring tone against an individual user.
'Play' and 'Delete' buttons, you can preview a ringtone and remove it.
By default, the RingtoneX supports wma, mid, wav and others. It depends on your device (mp3, mmf,...)
PPC 2002 supports wav
PPC 2003/PPC 2003 SE supports wma, mid, wav
Some of device support more ringtone file type. Depends on your device. mp3, mmf,...
Ringtone By Categories
The screen allows the user to set a ring tone against a specific category group.
'Play' and 'Delete' buttons, you can preview a ringtone and remove it.
"Default" ringtone
"No Categories" ringtone, individual who has no categories
Ringtones
You can see the list of available tones and what file type can be supported on your device.
'Play' and 'Delete' buttons, you can preview a ringtone and delete a ringtone file permernantly. Some of default ringtone files can't be deleted
'Refresh' button, you can search all ringtone files in default folder ('\Windows' or '\Windows\Rings')
If you don't see any ringtone list, try "Refresh" button.
'Import' button, you can import one ringtone file to the default folder ( \Windows\Rings' ). It actually copy your selected file to the default folder and use as ringtone.
Menu
Menu offers,
By Names : Set ringtone by individual
By Categories : Set ringtone by category group.
Ringtones : Reload ringtone files or remove a ringtone file.
Set Ringtone Folder : User can set custom ringtone folder (Able to use \Storage card)
About : Shows version and license information.
Register : Register your product if you have a registration code.
Set Ringtone Folder
User can set a custom ringtone folder.
Ability to set \Storage Card Folder.
Don't forget. Always requires a Storage Card.
Make your ringtone file tiny.
Register
Check your Owner Name.
In order to register, we need your owner name. ( Start > Settings > Owner Information )
Enter your registration code. If you don't have a registration code, you can visit mtux.com or purchase on handango.com or pocketgear.com.
'Try' button, you can try this products for 15 days. Once you try, the 'Try' button will be disabled.
About
About screens shows current version and build number. And license information.
Ringtone on Today Screen
This program offers you the ability to start or stop ringtone service. Also can bring ringtone setting screen.
When you reboot your device, this program will be launched automatically. If you don't see this ringtone icon on Today screen, ringtone service is not started properly.
If the menu shows as "Stop", your ringtone service is running correctly. If you see "Start" menu, please start your service by tapping on "Start" menu.
Ringtone Setting
Launch Ringtone Settings ( Start > Settings > RingtoneX )
Uninstall
Before installing new version, please remove the old version of RingtoneX or you can overwrite. (Start > Settings > Remove Programs)
